Easy Read 1: Eccelesiasticus 27:30 - 28:7
Don't bear grudges!!
Grudge and wrath, these also are abominations in which sinful people excel.
He who demands revenge will suffer the vengence of the Lord who keeps a strict account of his sins. Forgive the mistakes of your neighbour and you may ask that your sins be forgiven.
If a man bears resentment against another, how can he ask God for healing? If he has no compassion on others, how can he pray for forgiveness for his sins?As long as he, mere flesh, is resentful, who will obtain his pardon?
Remember your end and give up hatred; keep in mind your final corruption in the grace and keep the commandments.
Remember the commandments and do not bear grudges against your neighbour. Remember the covenant with the Most High and overlook the offense.
Refrain from quarrelling and you will avoid sin; the hot-headed man sparks off disputes...
when 1 is angry and needs to forgive, pls read: Matthew 18:21 - 35
for the benefit of those who do not have a bible, pls do not hesitate to call Lydia.
On the topic of forgiveness:
Then Peter asked him, "Lord, how many times must I forgive the offenses of my brother or sister? Seven Times?"
Jesus answered, "No, not seven times, but seventy seven times."
If your brother or sister has sinned against you, go n point out the fault when the 2 of u are in private, and if he listens to u, u have won ur brother. If u r not listened to, take with you 1 or 2 others so that the case may be decided by the evidence of 2 or 3 witnesses. If he still refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembled Church.......
i say to u: whatever u bind on earth, heaven will keep bound; and whatever u unbind on earth, heaven will keep unbound.
